The Footage Collector

Though I did not do anything directly towards the production of my original work video, I did attend the football game to collect footage for it. I was able to experiment with angles and lighting to see what I would want for next time and what I should include for the final video. It was interesting to film videos instead of taking photos the entire time since I am so used to the sound of the fast shutter versus the quiet and slow pace of video creating. However, I am learning so many new tricks regarding my videography skills and being bold in getting up close and personal with the football players to get these videos. For the next game, I will review all of my preexisting footage to see what is missing, a special touch I can add for next time. I am wanting a video of a touchdown, so I might have to camp out in the end zone for a while and be patient for that time to come. I am still pondering on the idea of including band, stars and cheer for the video since they are also a huge part of the games. But, the only problem is that we only have two more in-season games where cheer and stars are allowed to perform/be on the sidelines. I think I will be able to get something good for senior night, though, if it’s not too late to get videos like that. I think this video is about to become something epic!
