Big Things Lie Ahead

When I say big things, I mean the most important part of the class: Final Presentation Night. Over the past week, I’ve been writing and preparing for my final presentation speech which needs to be at least 25 minutes long. If I include details from both ISM 1 and ISM 2, I think I will make that time requirement. Since I have the same mentor and a very similar topic as last school year, I want to elaborate on some of the things I did pre-covid. I didn’t do much research on my topic this year due to the lack of need for it so including more hands-on things that I did to contribute towards my final product is one, more interesting and two, more applicable and meaningful. In order to do this effectively, I will speak passionately about my topic: sports journalism & photography. I am more of an emotional speaker than a logical speaker, so this won’t be a challenge for me as I am very passionate about my topic. I think I am also going to include testimonials from some clients and an example of what I shoot/look for during games. This will ensure I include every rewarding aspect of my topic and, hopefully, future career. I am looking forward to my speech!
