The Independent Study and Mentorship program is offered at Frisco High School and is an opportunity for students to be creative in choosing a topic to study independently.

         Students in this program are able to set up professional profiles to connect with business professionals in their region of topic to find a mentor to study with. With them, students will schedule mentor visits at least once a week and meet with them to discuss and explore the topic. 

        Each ISM student is handpicked and displays integrity, adversity, honestly and dedication in this course. Passion for their topic of choosing is displayed with each mentor visit, research assessment, and project.

        Over the course of this school year, students will conduct informative interviews to learn more about their topic and business professional. All of this information will turn in to a Final Product, presented with the help of their mentor.
