It’s Wedding Day!

No, not my own wedding. But one of the cutest couples I’ve ever seen. Actually, the wedding was nearly three weeks ago, but the pictures have been culled, edited, and exported as of this week. That means, on this week’s mentor visit, I got to show Marcia some extra special shots compared to the usual soccer, basketball, etc. As I was going through some of my favorites as well as all of them as one whole gallery, we both noticed quite a few similarities between these photos and my theatre photos. Especially my “getting ready” shots. I could probably pick out specific theatre shots that would almost match some wedding shots of mine exactly, including mirror shots, two people doing each other’s makeup, and costume/dress rack shots. In our last few minutes of the meeting, we very briefly discussed final product ideas and how I originally wanted to make a little book box of photo books. I responded in disappointment because it was probably going to be too expensive, so I decided on doing just one book for now and we will explore more options next visit in about a week. I want to do a collection, but the price definitely exceeds my current budget. However, we are still optimistic and excited about it! In addition to my mentor visit, I also completed my product proposal and included everything Marcia and I discussed.
